He vaguely went "oh yeh you won't be charged 3 times". Got through to a bloke who took my details who said I had no cards with them, I clearly have a debit and credit card that I was sat with me in front of me! So he got his manager, who had no idea, then rang my branch, who told him to call the fraud team, who said it was all fine. So obviously not wanting it to go through 3 times (definately don't have that much money!) I rang lloyds. The first was the payment of my credit card bill for £100 odd that I'd done in the morning and then the next 3 were for £906 for this trip. About 5 mintues later the fraud investigation team rang me (well, automated message) to see if it was me that had done it, and they said the last 4 transactions I'd done. tried to book it online and it said my payment couldn't go through so I rang the company and the guy said ok we'll do it by phone in case it was just something with the internet, he tried twice and it still wouldn't go through. I'm going to London for my 21st with 5 of my friends, so they gave me their money so I could book it all togehter, came to £906. OMG I had the same thing with Lloyds on Friday, but they made it even worse! So if you spend more than the norm ring your bank before you go shopping and save yourself the embarressment i had!!! I'm just a bit annoyed that a)i didn't know they did this and b) they didn't call me to let me know/check if that was me spending money. Anyway asda put my shopping aside and we went to bank, they had security blocked my card!!! Apparently if you spend above your usual amount they instantly block as they think its fraud!! So after 30 mins in bank they sorted out my card and i got my shopping from asda. So i went back out to cashpoint and tried to take money out and it refused, said to contact my branch. Today i went to asda to do some shopping, buy boys some clothes abd bits for baby, got to checkout and my card was refused, i checked bank before i went in and knew i had money. I got my sure start grant yesterday so ordered my new pram which was just under £250. I had the most embarresssing day today thanks to lloyds bank and thought i'd share it with you because i didn't know they did this!
